The team has persevered through long hours in the snow, heat, and rain and worked late into the night on emails and photo archiving. In the last five weeks we've traveled across twelve states and held over thirty campus outreaches and twenty other pro-life events outside of abortion facilities and in busy downtown areas. The team has a tireless energy that I've had trouble keeping up with! 

Where would it end?  The escorts were unashamedly spraying us in the face - what would they do to the next pro-life sidewalk counselors who came to help the expectant mothers?  I called the sheriff's department and asked for an officer to come put stop to the barrage of water, but the two officers who arrived refused to take action. 

"That's not what a baby looks like at ten weeks."

"What does a baby look like at ten weeks?"

"Like a bean."

Universities used to be places of learning that hosted a free exchange of ideas. No longer. Three and a half weeks ago, my sisters’ peaceful pro-life outreach at UC Santa Barbara was rudely interrupted by a professor who gathered a small mob of students to shout down any attempt at conversation, stole their sign and, while escaping to her office with the sign and a few of her students, pushed and scratched Thrin.
