FX Networks "30 Days" - filming
Southern California
The cable channel FX has developed a show called
”30 Days” in which a person is taken
out of their comfort zone for 30 days and the
entire ordeal is filmed. What could be more uncomfortable
for a pro-choice woman than 30 days in a home
for women in crisis pregnancies?
This April, FX is filming an episode featuring
just such a scenario! A pro-choice woman in her
late 20s will be living for 30 days at a pro-life
home in Long Beach, and will be required to participate
in pro-life activities during that time. What
sort of pro-life activities?
The pro-choice woman will attend a Survivors
Leadership Training in Orange County, a Show the
Truth event in Hollywood (complete with graphic
signs and possibly a Million to One Memorial),
and several campus visits. Yes, FX will be filming
the Survivors in action!
You are invited to attend all of the
events at which FX will be filming!
Please note: all Survivors under the age
of 18 must bring a permission form signed by a
parent or guardian in order to participate in
any of the events. Attendees over 18 must sign
the form and bring to events (this allows FX to
film the events). To print the form(in Word format),click here. If
you are unable to print the form for any reason,
we will have blank forms available at the events
(please remember minors must have a parent's signature!).
Friday, April 1: Leadership
Training in Orange County.
What: Learn how to
be an effective advocate for life! Answer the
tough questions, engage in productive debates,
and defend the pro-life stance.
When: 6:30 –
8:30 p.m.
Where: Concordia University in Irvine. Meet in Gym 202 - a classroom
in the gym at the center of campus. Click here

Saturday, April 2: Hollwood
Show the Truth
What: Put your knowledge
to the test! Join the Survivors as we present
the truth of abortion to the people of Los Angeles
through our signs, teaching boards, and educated
debate.
When: 11:00 a.m.
– 2:00 p.m.
Where: Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. This is a favorite outreach
of Survivors, and has shown great success. We
will meet at 11am on the sidewalk in front of
the Theatre.
Thursday, April 6: Campus Life
visit to a high school and college in Los Angeles
What: The Survivors
will visit a high school and college with signs
and literature, reaching out to our peers and
challenging them to consider the truth of abortion.
When: 10:00 a.m.
– 3:00 p.m.
Where: The Los Angeles
area. Locations TBA. As soon as details are
confirmed, a Survivors News
and Action Alert will be sent.
