LOS ANGELES, July 1 /Christian Wire Service/ -- Each summer, high-school and college students are trained in activism and apologetics at Survivors ProLife Training Camp. Protest Details---

On Friday, July 1, Survivors, a pro-life activist youth organization, will display graphic signs showing the reality of abortion outside of the Inaugural Mass at the Catholic Cathedral on Temple Street.

The group will also be asking Cardinal Mahoney not to serve the Mayor-elect the Sacrament of Communion.

Protestors will then follow the Mr. Villaraigosa to City Hall and demonstrate at the Inauguration.

The Mass will begin at 8:00 A.M. on Friday, July 1st.

Arianna Grumbine, spokesperson for Survivors, comments, "As a young Catholic it is a tragedy that the future Mayor of Los Angeles claims to be a Catholic and yet supports the killing of innocent children through abortion. We are showing these graphic signs to demonstrate what Mayor Villaraigosa truly supports--the horrific destruction of my generation through abortion. If Cardinal Mahoney serves a pro-abortion political leader Communion, it will be a slap in the face to faithful Catholics everywhere."
