Anna Tran, born and raised in a religious buddhist household, found Christ at age 30 and never looked back. For 8 years Anna taught colorguard in public high schools and middle schools. She also worked with major companies to coordinate events at E3,CES, and Wonder Con. In her early 20s, she found herself pregnant twice. During her second pregnancy, with regret taunting her, Anna knew she couldn’t go through another abortion. Unfortunately, she joined the statistics of mothers who experience complications due to previous botched abortion procedures and lost her child through misscarriage.
In 2021, convicted that she was merely a spectator observing a deceived culture and a church apathetic to abortion, she realized she couldn't stay silent any longer. “I killed my baby, I lost a baby, and now I'm going to do my best to help moms choose life for their babies, because I would never wish upon my worst enemy to go through what I did.”
By God’s grace, He used Anna’s testimony to help many moms choose life when she volunteered as a sidewalk counselor with Love Life. The event planning talents she formerly used in the secular marketplace she used instead to coordinate Saturday morning prayer walks, activating local churches to intercede on behalf of preborn children in the womb. While serving, God gave her a “Godly download” (an epiphany) that, “We need to catch them sooner!”
Anna’s love for life led her to donate a kidney to her sister, and shortly after she met Survivors’ Director Cheryl Conrad through a divine appointment during her recovery. Anna volunteered for an overpass outreach with Survivors for the 2022 midterm election, holding banners with the message “Vote No on Prop 1.” That was when she learned about Survivors’ work with the outreach team on campuses, catching the youth sooner, exactly what she had prayed for! Anna is beyond blessed to be a part of Survivors’ outreach team. God has brought her full circle to not only educate youth on campuses, but to recruit others to join her in making abortion unthinkable!
